The Easter eggs haven't even been cracked open but already plans are taking shape for the annual Christmas lights extravaganza at Wollaton Hall. Pre-sale starts today (Friday April 8) and tickets will go on general sale on Monday (April 11) for the popular event, now in its third year.
Events in 2020 and 2021 were a sell-out, with 100,000 visitors last year marvelling at the festive trail of lights and lasers, featuring stars, woodland animals and deer. Visitors were also able to enjoy a Christmas market and open-air terrace serving festive food and drink.
New attractions for 2022 will be revealed soon. The trail will open on Friday December 2 and run until Sunday January 1, 2023. Pre-bookable slots staggered every 30 minutes are available.

More than 90 per cent of those who attended in 2021 said they’d make a return visit, so tickets are expected to sell-out fast. One said: "Even more magical than last year. I think it’s one of those that will grow and grow and become an unmissable tradition.”
A spokesperson for the event said: "We’re excited for another spectacular Christmas event and want to thank everyone who has visited Christmas at Wollaton so far, for supporting our event. We’re delighted that, as a special thank you, we’re able to offer Nottingham City Council tax payers a special discount.”
Tickets are priced from £21.45 for an adult and £15.40 for children, including booking fee. Nottingham city residents' discount is available on selected time slots. For full ticket details visit christmasatwollaton.org
