Ricky Hatton has predicted that Tyson Fury will beat Oleksandr Usyk in their proposed fight, which is set to take place in March of this year as negotiations continue.
Fury is expected to defend his WBC heavyweight title against Usyk in a unification bout as the Ukrainian heavyweight puts his WBA, IBF, and WBO heavyweight titles on the line. The fight is expected to take in either the UK or Saudi Arabia, however, Frank Warren has clarified that no offer has been received for a fight in the middle east, leaving a UK fight the most likely outcome at present.
Former two-weight world champion Hatton has predicted that fellow Mancunian Fury will win the fight, with his friend having all of the tools to beat the dangerous former cruiserweight champion. However, Hatton has made it clear the threat posed by Usyk and that his threat to Fury should not be taken lightly.
