'It’s an illness, it’s not them' - Alex Jones opens up on husband's mental health struggles and shares 'really hard' advice

Alex Jones attends the Sky Women In Film And Television Awards 2024 at the Hilton Park Lane on December 06, 2024.

Speaking recently on The Great Company podcast, Alex Jones admitted that she "found it really hard" at times to take what has become her best advice for those who are around someone who’s struggling.

The One Show host reflected that she’d thought she’d been depressed in the past - "but then I saw it and I thought, no, I haven’t". Her husband of almost 10 years, Charlie Thomson, has dealt with his own mental health issues and Alex is adamant that "you *have* to let go of judgement".
