Michael Skubala says the team and staff has responded well following Leeds United's decision to sack head coach Jesse Marsch. The Whites' Under-21s boss had been placed in interim charge following the American's departure and oversaw the two games against Manchester United last week.
The Leeds hierarchy have since confirmed that Skubala, Paco Gallardo and Chris Armas will continue in their current roles ahead of this weekend's clash with Everton. The club felt that the two performances against the Red Devils were positive and they're happy for the current backroom staff to continue working the way they are.
Leeds took a surprise 2-0 lead at Old Trafford in midweek, only for Erik Ten Hag's side to fight back to earn a point. The Red Devils then ran out 2-0 winners at Elland Road on Sunday, but performances have improved in recent weeks.

Speaking following the update to confirm he will be staying on in charge, Skubala said: “I have really enjoyed the experience and the team and staff have responded well. I know I speak for Paco and Chris when I say that it is an honour to be on the touchline at this club.
“We will continue work tirelessly to help to push on up the table in the short term, whilst the board focus on the long term future of the team.”
Leeds have not won in the Premier League since back in November, a 4-3 win over Bournemouth prior to the winter break for the World Cup in Qatar. They'll take on a resurgent Everton who won their first game under new boss Sean Dyche and they could move above the Whites with a win against them this weekend.
That would see Leeds drop into the relegation zone for the second time this season and they know the next two games are must win.
