Cardiff City manager Steve Morison has insisted he won't allow Tommy Doyle and Cody Drameh to go elsewhere next season without a fight.
The England youth internationals have been very impressive since they were brought in on loan in January, having displayed both talent and consistency across the board since their respective arrivals.
While Cardiff fans will doubtless pray that both return to the Welsh capital next year, it seems unlikely that clubs higher up the football pyramid will not be taking a real look at them.
Whether Doyle gets a shot at Manchester City or other teams take a fancy to him, it's not difficult to see that the midfielder has the potential to operate at the top level of English football.

A decision will have to be made over where his future lies next season, but Morison has not ruled out the prospect of having him back next term. In fact, he hopes a situation transpires whereby Doyle requests another season with the Bluebirds, a club where he has endeared himself to the fan base and is getting regular games under his belt and shining.
"I think he has been excellent. He has shown why he is so highly regarded," Morison said of Doyle to WalesOnline.
"He was excellent. He didn't feel great before the game and he put on a performance like that.
"It'll be really interesting to see what he does next year.
"If we could get him back, would I say no? No. Could you see him going to a top-end Championship team, one of the teams who have just come down, possibly? We will just have to wait and see.
"Man City have got so many players and so many options. The communication is open and ongoing.
"We will ask the question and he might turn around and say, 'I would love to go back there for a year'. We will go, 'No problem! Let's see if we can sort that out!'"

Drameh is in the same boat, of course. He looks a Premier League right-back in waiting to all who have seen him since he first donned the blue shirt in January.
His blistering pace and tireless defensive efforts have made an immeasurable difference to Cardiff at both ends of the pitch.
Drameh forced through his move to the Welsh capital back in January, deciding against playing the back-up role for Marcelo Bielsa in the back half of the season.
Jesse Marsch has since taken over from Bielsa and it remains to be seen what the American's view of the player is. But Morison wants to at least have the discussion with the new Leeds boss over where the player's future lies next term.
"He has been tremendous. His energy and running ability, his ability to press and travel with the ball is fantastic and that's exactly why we wanted him to come in," Morison said of Drameh.
"Obviously, there is a change of manager up there now. I think it'll be an exciting one to watch to see his progress.
"We can have a chat, I've got the same agent [as Marsch], so we will see what happens!"
