'Like government has dismissed us': Dimovski speaks out as MPs set to debate hit-and-run laws

The father of Warners Bay teenager Bryson Dimovski has slammed the state government's response to a petition, signed by more than 20,000 people, that calls for tougher penalties for those who leave the scene of a motor vehicle crash.

The petition, to be debated in the Legislative Assembly on Thursday, follows the sentencing of 23-year-old Jaycob Gemza for the hit-and-run death of 14-year-old Bryson on 28 July 2023.
