Recent strikes carried out by the Israeli military have resulted in the tragic deaths of medical workers, patients, and individuals seeking refuge at the Al-Shifa Hospital in northern Gaza, as reported by Palestinian health officials. The Ministry of Health in Gaza has alleged that an Israeli bombing has caused damage to the surgical building of Al-Shifa.
Local residents have recounted witnessing heavy fire near the hospital, with one family sharing the devastating impact of an airstrike on their property close to the maternity facilities at Al-Shifa. The aftermath of the attack left hundreds of bodies scattered in the area.
Expressing their grief and outrage, a family member named Samir Al-Ajour highlighted the urgent need for action, stating, 'There are between 150 to 200 martyrs in the street we saw. We call on the Arab nations to wake up and ask how long this bloodbath is going to continue?' Another relative, Fahmi Al-Ajour, shared the heartbreaking loss of his daughter and infant son in the attack, emphasizing the profound impact of the tragedy by saying, 'He is the only son I have.'
