An Israeli strike on a refugee camp in north Lebanon has resulted in the death of Hamas official Saeed Atallah Ali and his family, as confirmed by the militant group. Another member of the military wing was also reported killed in an Israeli strike in Lebanon's eastern Bekaa Valley. These strikes followed an Israeli airstrike that severed a main highway connecting Lebanon and Syria, leaving significant damage in its wake.

Israel initiated a ground incursion into Lebanon against the Hezbollah militant group, resulting in the loss of nine Israeli soldiers. Syrian President Bashar Assad commended Iran's actions against Israel, emphasizing the collective resistance against occupation and aggression.

Israel's continued ground raids in southern Lebanon underscore the ongoing military operations in the region, targeting Hezbollah infrastructure and maintaining a strong military presence near the border.
