Over the past 24 hours, at least 95 people have tragically lost their lives in Israeli strikes in Lebanon, as reported by the Lebanese health ministry. Additionally, 172 individuals have been injured in these devastating attacks.
This recent escalation in violence saw airstrikes hitting inside Beirut's city limits early Monday, marking the first time strikes have landed within the city limits of the Lebanese capital since the Israel-Hamas war began on October 7.
It is important to note that Israel's airstrikes on Beirut have previously concentrated on the southern part of the city, particularly targeting the densely populated and predominantly Shia neighborhoods where Hezbollah maintains a stronghold.
