Israeli Strikes In Gaza Kill At Least 40 Palestinians

Palestinians search for casualties at the site of Israeli strikes on houses, in Gaza City

Recent Israeli airstrikes across Gaza have led to a devastating loss of life, with at least 40 Palestinians reported dead overnight. Emergency and civil defense officials in the enclave have confirmed the casualties, highlighting the severity of the situation.

In southern Gaza, the impact of Israeli airstrikes was particularly severe. An airstrike on Bani Suhaila in Khan Younis targeted a residential building, resulting in the deaths of at least 10 individuals. Tragically, some individuals remain trapped under the rubble, adding to the urgency of the rescue efforts.

Further north, in the town of Al-Fokhari, another Israeli attack claimed the lives of five individuals, including a woman and two children. The bodies were swiftly transferred to the Gaza European Hospital for identification and further procedures, as reported by the Palestine Red Crescent Society and hospital officials.

Central Gaza also witnessed significant casualties, with eight people losing their lives in and around the Al-Nuseirat camp due to Israeli strikes. The impact of the attacks was felt deeply, with communities reeling from the sudden and tragic loss of life.

Additional strikes in various locations, such as near the Nawri tower and the Radi petrol station, resulted in the deaths of six and two individuals respectively. The Gaza Civil Defense and PRCS paramedics worked tirelessly to respond to these incidents, transferring the victims to Al-Awda Hospital for further medical attention.

In northern Gaza, the toll of the airstrikes was particularly heavy, with 17 people losing their lives in Gaza City and surrounding areas. The strikes near mosques in Al-Zaytoun and Tal Al-Hawa claimed the lives of several individuals, with reports indicating that more victims may still be trapped under the rubble.

The Kamal Adwan Hospital received 12 bodies following Israeli air and artillery attacks in the Al-Fallujah area west of the Jabalya camp. First responders and civil defense teams continue to work tirelessly to address the aftermath of these tragic events, providing support and assistance to those affected by the violence.
