Amid escalating violence in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, a recent Israeli strike on a building in the northern Gaza Strip resulted in the tragic deaths of at least 60 people, with 17 individuals reported missing. The ongoing conflict has seen a death toll surpassing 43,000, with officials in Gaza providing this grim statistic without distinguishing between civilians and combatants.

Israeli lawmakers passed two laws that could potentially impact the work of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA). These laws threaten to sever Israel's ties with the agency, raising concerns about the continuity of essential services in Gaza and the Israeli-occupied West Bank.
