An Israeli strike in southern Beirut resulted in the death of at least one woman and left several others injured on Tuesday, with some sustaining serious injuries as reported by Lebanese media outlets.

The casualties were promptly transported to three nearby hospitals, according to the state news agency. Israel has claimed responsibility for the targeted attack.
