An Israeli military operation in the West Bank city of Jenin has led to a tragic loss of life, with at least 11 Palestinian individuals reported dead, according to updated figures from officials.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah has confirmed that 10 Palestinians were killed in the operation, with an additional 25 individuals sustaining injuries, four of whom are in critical condition.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that one more casualty was discovered on Haifa Street in Jenin following reports of injuries. The victim was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, while search operations are ongoing in the area to ensure there are no other victims.
These recent casualties add to the grim toll of violence in the region, with Palestinian officials revealing that since October 7 of the previous year, a total of 517 Palestinians have lost their lives in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
