The Israeli military announced on Friday that it had successfully targeted and killed a Hezbollah commander in southern Lebanon. The commander, identified as Muhammad Hassin Ramal, was in charge of the Tayba area and was responsible for orchestrating numerous terror attacks against Israel and Israeli soldiers, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
Hezbollah, the Lebanese militant group, has not yet issued a statement regarding the incident.
In addition to the targeted strike on Ramal, the IDF reported that it had conducted operations against more than 150 targets in both Gaza and Lebanon over the past day. These targets included weapons storage facilities, underground shafts, sniper posts, observation posts, and individuals identified as 'terrorist operatives' by the IDF.
The Israeli military's actions are part of ongoing efforts to combat threats posed by militant groups in the region and to protect Israeli citizens and soldiers from potential attacks. The IDF remains vigilant and prepared to respond to any further threats to national security.
