The Israeli military conducted a series of intense bombings in Beirut's southern suburbs, targeting alleged terror sites associated with Hezbollah. According to an Israeli military spokesperson, the bombardment consisted of 20 strikes within a span of two minutes, making it one of the most concentrated attacks near the Lebanese capital since the conflict began over two months ago.
The spokesperson stated that the targets included administrative facilities and storage locations believed to house funds belonging to Hezbollah. The strikes occurred shortly before a scheduled Israeli cabinet meeting to discuss a potential ceasefire with the militant group.
