Israeli Hostage Released From Gaza During Exchange Dies At 78

A 78-year-old Israeli hostage who survived 49 days of captivity in Gaza following Hamas' October 7 attack on Israel has passed away after months of battling severe health complications.

Hanna Katzir was abducted from her home in Kibbutz Nir Oz on the fateful day, in which over 1,200 Israelis were killed and some 250 taken hostage.
