A survivor from the October 7 Nova music festival massacre has been hailed as a hero after his brave response to a shooting and stabbing attack near his home in Tel Aviv on Tuesday. The incident, which took place in the neighborhood of Jaffa, resulted in the tragic loss of at least seven lives and left 12 others injured.

In a video that circulated online, the survivor, identified as Lev Kreitman, was captured firing a gun at an unknown target before quickly fleeing the scene. Kreitman, who was reportedly wearing a pink shirt and white shorts, was also seen walking among IDF soldiers who had arrived at the scene following the attack.

Speaking about the harrowing experience, Kreitman revealed that he had a handgun on him due to his previous service as a reservist with the IDF in Gaza. He recounted how he encountered two terrorists during the attack, with one of them approaching him directly. Without hesitation, Kreitman took action, managing to neutralize the threat amidst the chaos and confusion of the situation.

Ben-Gvir also used the opportunity to advocate for more Israelis to arm themselves, citing the recent increase in the number of individuals obtaining licenses to carry personal weapons.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the attack and extended his condolences to the families of the victims. The incident serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing security challenges faced by the region and the courage displayed by individuals like Lev Kreitman in the face of adversity.
