On Sunday, the Lebanese health ministry reported that at least 45 people have lost their lives and 76 others have been injured in Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon. The attacks targeted two separate areas, resulting in devastating consequences for the affected communities.
In the southern Lebanese village of Ain al-Delb, the ministry confirmed that 24 individuals were killed, and 29 sustained injuries as a result of the airstrikes. Additionally, in the Baalbek-Hermel region located in eastern Lebanon's Beqaa Valley, at least 21 people lost their lives, with 47 others being injured.
The intensified bombardment by Israel has led to tens of thousands of Lebanese civilians being displaced from their homes, seeking refuge on the streets. The airstrikes have caused significant destruction, with residential buildings being flattened and critical infrastructure being targeted and destroyed. Israel has justified its actions by claiming to target Hezbollah positions within civilian-populated areas.
