Israel has recently released new video footage that it claims shows Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar underground in Hamas tunnels just hours before the October 7 attacks last year. The Israeli military spokesperson stated that Sinwar was hiding with his family in tunnels below Khan Younis in central Gaza.
The footage, accompanied by commentary from Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari, suggests that Sinwar prioritized himself, his money, and Hamas terrorists over the people of Gaza. The IDF previously released similar video in February showing Sinwar walking in a tunnel with his family shortly after the October 7 attacks.
