Tehran (Iran): Israel on Saturday claimed to carry out airstrikes on Iran's military sites in response to Iran's October 1 attack.
"In response to months of continuous attacks from the regime in Iran against the State of Israel, the IDF is conducting precise strikes on military targets in Iran," the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement.
Local media also reported that strong explosions were heard around Tehran on Saturday morning. Iranian state TV reported that the explosions heard around the capital were owing to activation of the air defence system.
