Israel’s military has carried out “targeted strikes” against Hamas in eastern Rafah hours after rejecting Hamas’s agreement to a ceasefire deal.

Israel’s forces hit Gaza’s southern edge from the air and ground and ordered residents to leave parts of the city, which has been a refuge for more than a million displaced Palestinians.
