Israel has officially designated the Hezbollah-linked financial institution Al-Qard Al-Hassan as a terrorist organization. This decision comes after Israel conducted strikes on several branches of the institution across Lebanon.
The Israeli defense ministry released a statement on Monday, stating that the designation is part of a broader campaign aimed at targeting the economic resources of Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations. According to intelligence reports, Al-Qard Al-Hassan has been utilized to finance Hezbollah's operations through activities such as purchasing munitions, paying salaries to terrorists, and storing Hezbollah funds.
