The Israel Defense Forces have announced the successful elimination of several senior figures in Hamas through a joint operation with the Israeli Security Agency (ISA). This operation, carried out on Monday, involved IDF fighter jets acting on intelligence provided by both the IDF and ISA.
The IDF reported that the targeted senior Hamas operatives in Rafah were instrumental in supporting the military wing of Hamas in maintaining control and conducting operations in the field. The individuals identified by the IDF include Sayid Katab Alkhashash, Osama Hamd Zaher, Muhammad Aud Almelalakhi, and Hadi Abu Alrus Kasin. These individuals held key positions within Hamas, with roles such as heading the Emergency Bureau in Northern and Eastern Rafah and serving as an operations officer.
