Israel announced on Saturday that its forces successfully eliminated two Hezbollah commanders who were responsible for more than 400 strikes against them in October. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that the terrorists, Mousa Izz al-Din and Hassan Majid Daib, were targeted in the Tyre region of Lebanon.
The IDF specifically mentioned that Daib was behind the recent projectile fire towards Haifa Bay. The military further stated that these Hezbollah terrorists had launched over 400 projectiles at Israel in the past month alone.
Israel Air Force (IAF) conducted airstrikes on more than 120 targets within the last day, including anti-tank missile launching sites, terrorist operatives, infrastructure sites, weapons storage facilities, and command centers in Lebanon.
Additionally, IDF soldiers are engaged in targeted raids against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, focusing on dismantling infrastructure, locating weapons, and eliminating terrorists in collaboration with the IAF.
In the Gaza Strip, IDF operations in Jabaliya resulted in the elimination of numerous terrorists through aerial and ground activities. Similar operations were carried out in Rafah and central Gaza to dismantle terror infrastructure and locate weapons.
The recent Israeli offensive was in response to a deadly attack by Hezbollah forces in northern Israel on Thursday, which claimed the lives of several individuals. The IDF also confirmed the elimination of Mustafa Ahmad Shahadi of Hezbollah's Radwan Forces near Nabatieh, south of Beirut.
The IDF emphasized that targeting Shahadi was part of the broader strategy to degrade Hezbollah's capabilities and prevent further terror activities against Israeli troops and communities along the northern border.
