Police have appealed for information to help track down a man who has been missing for a year.

Svet Yotov, 31, was last seen at his home in Islington by a relative on October, 2021. He was reported missing on October 14.

Officers have since launched a search operation to find Yotov. Police have also collaborated with authorities in his native Bulgaria.

PC Dan Lewis, from the Central North Command Unit Safeguarding Team, said: "The primary focus of our investigation is to find Svet safe and well. Svet, we want you to know you are not in any trouble. All we want is return you home safely. Please, make contact with us.

"If you are someone who knows Svet and have seen him, or have any information as to his whereabouts, please do the right thing and call police. His family are distraught at not knowing what has happened to him."

Information can be given to police via 101 or tweeting @MetCC, reference 21MIS031924.

Alternatively contact the charity Missing People via www.missingpeople.org.uk or 116 000.
