A Northern Ireland rider who sustained two black eyes after being struck by a bird is celebrating his maiden Isle of Man TT podium.
Paul Jordan benefitted by some the late misfortune of Michael Dunlop to finish third in Wednesday's Bennetts Supertwin race.
It was a proud moment for the Magherafelt 30-year-old who is still nursing two shiners and a swollen hand after hitting a bird earlier this week.

Reflecting on his bizarre injuries, Jordan said: "It has been a hell of a week, and this just tops off the story.
"I was going down Sulby Straight and I was tucked in behind another competitor.
"He ducked at the bird and the bird went straight through my visor on my helmet, and now I am left with two shiners."
Jordan admitted he was "lost for words" after claiming his maiden podium at the TT.
He ended up promoted to third on the final lap after Dunlop encountered bike problems and had to retire.
"It is unbelievable," he said.
"I saw Michael (Dunlop) going out and I knew I was in fourth or fifth, so I just said 'keep pushing on' and we'll see.
"Then I saw the board going up to say I was third and I near put my fist through the tank. I am lost for words."
He added: "I can't wait for the rest of the races. I have the Supersport later today so I will get my head down and go for it, and try and redeem myself for speeding in the pit lane on Monday."
