The incident occurred when teammate Mark Chapman attempted a shot that went out of control, with the ball hitting Sajjad on the back of his head. The impact caused the right-arm medium-fast bowler to collapse on the ground, immediately halting the practice session as players and support staff rushed to his aid.
Sajjad was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for medical evaluation. According to reports from Pakistan-based outlet Geo Super, he has regained consciousness and is currently in stable condition. As a precautionary measure, doctors have advised a CT scan to rule out any serious injury.
