ISL: Josep Gombau returns as Odisha FC head coach after two seasons

ISL Odisha FC Odisha Indian Super League Juggernauts FC Barcelona

Odisha FC, on Wednesday, fell back to the man who took the Juggernauts closest (sixth on league table) to Indian Super League (ISL) playoffs in the club’s first season in 2019-20 after being rechristened from erstwhile Delhi Dynamos.

Josep Gombau, who had left the club due to familial reasons after the end of 2019-20 season, has agreed to take charge as the head coach of the club on a two-year deal. This marks the Spanish gaffer’s return to the club’s base at Kalinga Stadium after two seasons.
