ISL: Ivan Vukomanovic has his work cut out on return

KOCHI: Seven months after he decided to stage a walkout with his team in protest against referee Crystal John’s decision to allow Sunil Chettri’s goal in favour of Bengaluru FC in the ISL playoff, Kerala Blasters’ head coach Ivan Vukomanovic is all set to return to the team dugout at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium here on Friday night.

Though Vukomanovic’s return, after serving a 10-match ban, is expected to boost Blasters’ confidence when they host Super Cup champions Odisha FC, the team's problems remain the same.
