Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco has been sidelined since Week 2 due to a fibula injury.
In his absence, veteran rusher Kareem Hunt has stepped up to lead Kansas City’s ground game.
Could Pacheco make his return to the field in the Chiefs’ Week 12 matchup against the Carolina Panthers?
Isiah Pacheco injury update
Pacheco was a limited participant in Kansas City’s Wednesday practice session. He was listed with an ankle injury, and seems like a long-shot to see the field when the Chiefs face Carolina on Sunday.
How long will Isiah Pacheco be out?
It is unclear when Andy Reid intends to get Pacheco back to action, but given Hunt’s outstanding performance as Kansas City’s lead back, it is unlikely that he will be rushed back into the starting lineup.
Chiefs RB depth chart
With Pacheco sidelined, the Chiefs have relied on Hunt, Carson Steele, and Samaje Perine to lead their ground game. Former first-round pick Clyde Edwards-Helaire is also available to pitch in if needed.
