Everton have confirmed the departure of Ishe Samuels-Smith to Chelsea.
The 17-year-old leaves the Blues without having made a first team appearance but having impressed both Frank Lampard and Sean Dyche.
Each of the two managers named him on the bench for senior fixtures last season as well as exposing him to training sessions with the first team squad.

Everton said the club would receive “significant compensation” for the move, with the terms of deal thought to be worth up to around £4m. It is the second departure announced by Everton in recent days, with striker Ellis Simms having been sold to Coventry City.
Samuels-Smith joined Everton aged nine and despite his young age was a regular in Paul Tait’s Under-21s last season. He has also represented England across his developmental age groups.
