Falcons kicker Younghoe Koo is dealing with a hip injury entering Sunday’s matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. Koo was given a questionable game designation on Atlanta’s final injury report, leaving his status for Week 13 up in the air.
Younghoe Koo injury update
The Falcons released their inactives list for Week 13 and Koo is officially active. The veteran kicker was limited in practice this week. With Riley Patterson ruled out, it’s clear that Koo will be a full go in Sunday’s game against the Chargers.
Will Koo miss any time?
Koo is not seriously injured, and therefore unlikely to miss any time going forward unless he reaggravates his hip before next week’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Falcons kicker depth chart
While Koo is the only kicker on the team, the Falcons signed Riley Patterson to the practice squad and elevated him to the 53-man roster. Patterson has plenty of experience and should have no problem filling in for Koo if necessary.
