It’s the oldest national League Cup in existence but it will have a slightly new look as four teams look to move a step closer to getting their hands on the trophy first lifted by Rangers 76 years ago when they defeated this weekend’s semi-final opponents Aberdeen.
But what will the change from Premier Sports to Viaplay mean for fans? The good news for subscribers to the previous incarnation is that it won’t mean anything. Viaplay is a Nordic streaming service with the Swedish giants acquiring Premier Sports for around £30 million in the summer.
However, supporters who already subscribed to Premier Sports simply have to log on to the Viaplay website, enter the email address used when registering to Premier Sports and they will be sent a link to create a new password to access their Viaplay account.
