Trisha Paytas is well and truly in her actress era. From making her Broadway debut in Beetlejuice to landing a role in the upcoming third season of Euphoria, the YouTube personality-slash-reality star-slash-singer-slash-podcast host’s star has never shone brighter.
Now, rumours are swirling online that the mother-of-three is about to take on her biggest project yet: The White Lotus. Let’s investigate, shall we?
Will Trisha Paytas be in The White Lotus?
The main reason why fans are so convinced Paytas will soon be checking into the fictional hotel is that she revealed in a TikTok video on Friday that she’s about to fly to France.
“We did celebrate Christmas early because I’m about to jet off to France! Oui oui oui!” she said while holding up a handbag bedazzled with the French flag.
“I have a little thing happening there, so this was my first gift… It’s giving Les Mis, but bling.”
HBO officially confirmed last month that season four of the star-studded drama will take place in France and showrunner Mike White was “very, very early” in the casting process.
Interesting timing, no?
It’s important to note that Paytas has been a longtime fan of The White Lotus and she has said in many videos online that she would love a role in the series. She even dressed up with her husband, Moses Hacmon, as the show’s characters, Tanya McQuoid and Greg Hunt, back in December 2022.
“Checking in to the white lotus,” she captioned the post, which would be the ultimate form of manifestation if she actually appears on the show.
On top of that, she recently interacted online with Aly and AJ Michalka and invited them to appear on her podcast Just Trish, not long before AJ was announced as a cast member in The White Lotus season four. SUSS!
What would Trisha Paytas’ role be on The White Lotus?
Paytas posted a TikTok in 2023 reading out Reddit comments about what type of role she could have on The White Lotus, so White has plenty of inspiration to draw from in season four.
“Imagine Trisha Paytas as a family member of Tanya’s,” one person wrote.
“Say what you want about Trisha, but she is perfect casting for a dramatic, rich, white lady with psychological issues role,” someone else replied, which Paytas completely took as a compliment.
“I’d love to see them add a totally white trash person who has spent their adult life doing whatever they can to stay relevant and be wealthy,” another user commented.
All of these ideas sound amazing, but honestly, anything she touches turns to television gold.
