Three customers are reporting increased network issues today.
According to Down Detector, hundreds of people have raised issues with Three within the past few hours – and the number of reports seems to be rising.
Around 40 per cent of the reports refer to mobile internet issues, while comments on the site from users have said they “can't receive or make calls”.
Three is one of the biggest mobile network providers in the UK, with more than 10 million users around the country. It offers mobile broadband and internet services to households around the country.
It appears that issues may be impacting certain areas rather than the entire network.
The 3 Network checker for Greater Manchester said: "We're working on fixing an issue in this area at the moment. We're sorry for any disruption this may be causing."
However, the same message doesn’t appear when searching locations in Greater London.
People that use Three can check the status of the network in their area by going to the network support page and typing in their postcodes.
It’s not the first time Three has been rocked by technical difficulties. Just last month, widespread outages lasted over four days.
At the time, the network apologised to affected customers, saying: “Some customers may be experiencing issues with our network this morning. Our engineers are working hard to fix it.
“This issue is also impacting customer service, so please check back here for the latest updates.
“We're very sorry for the issues with service over the past few days and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
