There is a very good chance the Boston Celtics will end up playing the Miami Heat in the first round of the NBA’s 2023 Eastern Conference playoffs. The Heat and Atlanta Hawks are set to battle in the league’s play-in tournament for the right to play the Celtics.
And while this version of Miami may not be quite as dangerous as some Boston has faced in past seasons, any team with Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro on the court and Erik Spoelstra helming the club from the sidelines needs to be taken seriously.
Is there a chance the Miami Heat could beat the Boston Celtics in the first round?
Of course, they’d need to make the playoffs — but if they do, is a win set in stone for Boston? The hosts of the CLNS Media “Garden Report” recently debated if they could.
