The New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq are closed on Friday, April 3, in observance of Good Friday.

US futures saw modest declines on Friday, influenced by unexpectedly strong jobs data, despite equities markets being closed. American employers added a significant 178,000 new jobs last month, with the unemployment rate falling to 4.3%, marking a strong rebound from the previous month's job losses.

Energy markets were closed after substantial price surges on Thursday, driven by concerns that the conflict involving Iran would be more protracted than anticipated.

U.S. President Donald Trump indicated that the U.S. would continue its attacks on Iran, without providing a clear timeline for the conflict's resolution, raising fears of prolonged disruption to global oil supplies.

While European markets were closed for the holiday, Asian markets showed mixed results, with Japan's Nikkei and South Korea's Kospi rising, while the Shanghai Composite saw a decline.
