Lions are known to the kings of the jungle so when the latest I'm A Celebrity arrival touched down in Australia it seemed that his choice of disguise was sending a very special message.
All eyes were on the man in black - and a giant lion's head - as he strolled through Brisbane Airport where the world's press have been gathered in recent days on the lookout for stars flying in as this year's series prepares to get under way. And the lion in their midst - carefully negotiating airport steps - quickly became the mane attraction.
Soon it was clear this was indeed Culture Club singer and songwriter Boy George, already rumoured to be among the celebrities who will be competing to be named this year's king or queen of the jungle. In response to questions, he's said to have claimed: "I'm here to do a version of The Lion Queen, I don't know what you are talking about darling!"

And asked if he'd keep on the head for the duration of his time in the jungle, he replied: "Let's hope so." While the long-running ITV show - hosted by Ant and Dec and now back in Australia after a couple of cold years in a castle in Wales - does its best to keep the identity of its contestants under wraps until launch day, rumours are always rife about who is taking part.
This year's line-up is all but confirmed with Boy George set to appear alongside the likes of Mike Tindall and Sunderland's World Cup football star Jill Scott. The Culture Club favourite - real name George O'Dowd - will no doubt bring plenty of entertainment to the show, being a hugely talented all-rounder who is also a DJ, fashion designer, mixed media artist, photographer and record producer.
The former England rugby player Mike Tindall is also among those who have already arrived Down Under.
He is married to Zara, the daughter of Princess Anne and granddaughter of the late Queen, and will become the first Royal to appear on the show. The new series of I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! will begin on ITV1 on Sunday, November 6.
