Ireland is set for a glorious ten days according to the latest Met Eireann forecast, as a band of warm air is set to move across the country.
Highest temperatures will jump right into the late twenties as the summer weather front moves in.
As for tomorrow, sunny spells will arrive, but it'll be a cloudier day in the north, with some light rain or drizzle.
Highest temperatures will range from 16 to 22 degrees - with the best expected in the southeast, amid moderate west to northwest winds.
It’ll be a mild and humid night on Wednesday with most places remaining dry, but there will be more drizzle on north-facing coasts.
Thursday will begin with some cloud cover but sunny intervals will develop during the afternoon and evening - the best of which will be in the south and east.
Highest temperatures will once again range from 18 to 21 degrees, and will be lowest in the northwest in light northwest breezes.
Kicking off the weekend on Friday, things are set to be dry and cloudy at first, with outbreaks of light rain in the northwest - however, they’ll die away as the day goes on.
Things will improve as the weekend unfolds with sunny spells, and just isolated light showers developing in the afternoon. Highest temperatures of 18 to 22 degrees are expected in light northerly breezes.
Saturday and Sunday will be dry with light winds and sunny spells and temperatures reaching 22 to 24 degrees.
High pressure is expected to dominate our weather next week with largely dry and warm conditions.
As for the expected forecast up to July 14, the Irish forecaster says “High pressure is set to dominate our weather for the coming week.
“A northwesterly airflow will dominate which will lead to the west and northwest coasts being cooler than eastern areas this week.
“Temperatures will be around a degree above normal overall this week for most areas.
“Whilst conditions will be drier than normal, some precipitation is still possible at times, especially along the west and northwest coasts.”
