Update: George Pickens will not play in today’s game.
The Pittsburgh Steelers aim to avenge a Week 12 loss to the Cleveland Browns and need their leading receiver, George Pickens (hamstring), in on the action.
Pickens was added to the team’s final injury report with the hamstring injury sustained during practice on Friday. He was a limited practice participant but spoke to the media afterward.
Moments ago, Mike Tomlin shared with CBS Sports’ sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson that Pickens will test his hamstring ahead of the game. While he’s expected to play, Tomlin emphasized monitoring his condition closely to ensure health and performance.
Following the Browns loss, Pickens made headlines telling reporters that Cleveland wasn’t “a good team at all.” He also got into a scuffle with Browns defensive back Greg Newsome on the game’s final play.
Pickens has 55 receptions for 850 yards and three touchdowns this season.
