Emmerdale, Coronation Street and EastEnders kept viewers hooked over Christmas - and they are about to do the same again this New Year.
But not all three soaps will be airing a New Year's Eve episode this year to get us ready for 2023.
Likewise, two of the soaps have ditched a New Year's Day episode, meaning their first episodes of the new year will instead air on Monday.
That said, this weekend's soaps are no short of drama - with panic and death fears, family trouble and a character's fate is revealed after an accident.
On EastEnders a New Year's Eve party, which actually airs on New Year's Day, leaves lives on the line with residents rushed to hospital.
Corrie's final episode of the year sees killer Stephen desperate to cover his tracks, as the fireworks are watched by those on the street.
Meanwhile Emmerdale hints at a new opportunity for some residents, as others are forced to face up to their recent actions.
