Zak Srakaew has become the second housemate to bid farewell to Big Brother but the format of series 20 has left some viewers with FOMO.
The reality TV series has returned to television after five years and ITV 2 has received a record viewership for the first two episodes of a new season. Zak, 28, left the house on Sunday one week after Farida Khalifa got the boot in the first public vote.
Male model Zak lost the eviction vote to Henry Southan, 25. Zak said afterwards: “I’ve had quite a few conflicts here and there… Henry has not had any conflicts in the house. I was the talk of the house for a few days before the nominations.”
Viewers have got their impressions of the show from watching the highlights show which broadcasts on ITV 2 every night, or that is apart from Saturdays. Producers are instead editing together a weekend highlights special on a Sunday when the eviction is held.
But this, to some, leaves a Big Brother-shaped hole as to what happened on a Friday.
“Can we just have a Saturday episode please?” Big Brother fan Lewis wrote on Twitter. “No idea why we have to miss the bulk of what happens on a Friday for no reason?”
Another added: “Still not sold on this no show on Saturday, Sunday show covers Friday and Saturday format. Just doesn’t seem fair on the housemates to suggest an accurate picture of the mood and relationships in 48 hours in the house can be summed up in 48 minutes.”

When is Big Brother on ITV 2?
The series is broadcast at 9pm on ITV 2 with Big Brother: Late & Live hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best on the same channel from 10pm.
This is true for every night apart from Saturday, which has got some viewers upset that they are missing out on interesting conversations between housemates.
Fans can catch up on previously aired episodes on ITV X, the channel’s online on-demand platform.
If were not going to get a Saturday show then the Sunday show needs to be longer... thanks for coming to my ted talk #BBUK

Why isn’t Big Brother shown on Saturdays?
ITV 2 has not given a reason as such but does typically show films on Saturday nights, this week going with The Mummy with Tom Cruise.
It remains to be seen if the broadcaster will be moved to move on its policy after the fans have had their say.
