Kevin Adam has become Irvine Vics all-time record goalscorer after moving past Andy Clarkson's 40-year-old record.
The striker scored in a 4-1 win at Carluke Rovers this afternoon to take his goals count for the Westenders to 147 - one more than Clarkson's long-standing tally.
Adam become joint top scorer last week when he netted in a 2-2 draw at Saltcoats. Now he'll go down in the history books as the club's greatest ever marksman. He has made 315 appearances for the Westenders.
Today's victory extended Vics' unbeaten run in the West of Scotland League Third Division to 12 matches.
On the scoresheet alongside Adam were Alessandro Savarese, Lewis McCracken and a trialist.
