Irvine Meadow have rejected a bid for captain Calum Gow from West of Scotland League Premier Division rivals Pollok - but the towering defender wants away.
Meadow chairman Robert Jeffrey confirmed the news in a club statement released on social media this afternoon.
He said: "Pollok have made a formal offer for defender Calum Gow. The player has spoken with them and has confirmed to us he wants to leave.
"We have rejected their first offer and await an improved one."
Gow joined Meadow from Clydebank in 2018 and helped them win promotion from the old West Region Championship.
He was made club captain in the summer after Mark McLennan left to join Cumnock.
