The wait for Robert Downey Jr's return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is about to end. The actor is confirmed to return, but not in his iconic role as Iron Man, rather, he will take on a new role, this time as the infamous Doctor Doom.

The actor will reportedly trade in his Iron-Man suit for a green cape and metal mask as he takes on the role of the villain Victor Von Doom in the Russo Brothers’ 'Avengers: Doomsday' and 'Avengers: Secret Wars'.
