An Irish woman left people in stitches after she tried out the latest TikTok trend, the internal shower.
Andrea Woods, @awoods_official, was praised for her "no-nonsense analysis" of the trend in a video that has since gathered over 3.5 million views.
The drink containing chia seeds, lemon and water is supposed to act as a laxative due to the high fibre content of chia seeds and has taken over the social media platform.
Beginning the video, Andrea said: "I tell you now, there's definitely someone now sitting at the end of this app selling packets of Nexium. It's not even funny anymore. It's not actually a joke, actually no, it's not a joke, no.
"Internal shower Chis seeds and lemon. I tell you, whoever is coming up with these is one thing, but we're bigger f***ing eegits for actually following it through. That's the gospel now lads.
"Right, it says two tablespoons of chia seeds which is fairly f***ing simple. We'll get them in. I need some water first one second.
"Right internal shower, I'm telling you something now. Sure look, they just sit at the top of it like as if they were going to float to the bottom.
"Anyway, it did say two tablespoons of lemon. I've said this once, and I'll say it some more you don't table spoon lemons, so there'll be no table spooning any lemons around here today. We are just going to squeeze the lemon in now, and we're going to mix it then.
"I tell you something now, if I'm sat with elevated pillows in the bed there tonight because the heartburn is absolutely eating me alive, if you've come up with this, you need to present yourself, and you need to hold yourself accountable and to tell you the truth I need to stop doing sh**e like this."
Mixing the drink with a knife, Andrea added: "I'm not going and getting another spoon. No, it does the same f***ing job.
"Right here we go now.
"Are you meant to let them expand? Probably am. I'm gonna give it a mix so that they all float up to the top, so I do get a good few."
After one sip, she says: "Sure that's just lemon water like", before turning the camera off after saying "no".
Fans couldn't help but crack up at the Andrea's wit.
One said: "the superstitious lass in me is screaming 'stirring with a knife brings trouble and strife'".
Another said: "IF EVERY PERSON IS LIKE THIS IN IRELAND IT MUST BE THE BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD TO LIVE".
While a third commented: "I love Irish people istg".
