Irish Too Hot To Handle star Nicole O'Brien left 'traumatised' after being 'ghosted' after date

Too Hot to Handle star Nicole O'Brien has said she was left "traumatised" after she was recently 'ghosted' by a man.

The Cork beauty - who shot to fame on the Netflix series in 2020 - opened up about her love life, admitting she is finding dating really hard.

The reality TV star recently recalled being left "traumatised" after the incident.

She told us: “I’m finding it really hard. I don’t know what it is. I feel like men… their intentions are just not right.

“I got ghosted as well.

“I was traumatised. I have got a good few lad friends and stuff and they have said that I sometimes chat a lot and maybe be intimidating.

"I want to be in a relationship. Like I do want to find someone," she said.

The singer said she often receives unwanted attention from admirers but people following her while she is out and about has died down.

She told of her horror last year after she was stalked by fans taking pictures of her at her home.

She revealed how terrified she was after fans lured her out onto her balcony at her London flat while she was lounging in her pyjamas so they could take pictures of her.

But Nicole said: “It’s kind of died down. I live in Croydon at the moment, and I do get a few messages being like, ‘you look so much prettier in person’.

“It’s slightly died down.

“I do get messages and stuff but there’s no one knocking on doors so it’s grand," she added.

Nicole is also considering a move to LA to extend her music career. She has released her new collaborative track with DJ Marty Guilfoyle as they have given a classic 2000s hit, Kylie’s “Love At First Sight”, a modern twist which is sure to be the ultimate summer banger.

“I want to go to America. I might actually plan to move to LA in the next year or two.

"That’s my plan to get over to LA in the next few months. But I’ve learned to play my life by ear because sometimes when I plan, I get stressed if it doesn’t go to plan so I’m just enjoying the ride and seeing what comes along," she added.
