An Irish Rail passenger has been praised for trying to alert staff after she spotted what she believed to be a "man collapsed" at one of their stations.
The woman herself was unable to help the man as she was on the train and became nervous as no one seemed to be around to come to his aid.
Taking to Twitter, she said: "@IrishRail hi I'm on the train but there is a man collapsed in the Ashtown station stop ticket office !!!! It doesn't look like anyone is there to help".

However, after sending staff to check on the man at the station, Irish Rail responded to the woman to let her know that all was okay.
It said: "Hi Therese, We have checked and a member of staff is repairing a machine and is lying on the ground while doing so. Thank you for your concern, but everything/everyone is fine".
The mix up grabbed the attention of several social media users who praised the woman for raising the alarm, even if it was mistaken.
One said: "It's nice to see some kindness in the world right now."
Another wrote: "Hilarious but fair play Therese!"
While a third commented: "Oh my god the embarrassment! Her heart was in the right place...."
The incident also urged others to recall their own mistaken reports.
They said: "When I was a lot younger I approached one of the members of staff at Madame Tussaud's as I was concerned about an overweight person that appeared to have passed out. Turns out it was a waxwork of a sleeping, overweight, tourist."
