Ireland’s premier has said that Ukraine peace talks “will not work” without Europe’s involvement and that Ukraine has to be “at the heart” of any arrangement.

Taoiseach Micheal Martin said European countries were “worried” about the “direction of travel” as US and Russian officials met in Saudi Arabia to discuss ending the war in Ukraine.
