One of the UK's biggest pop rock groups The 1975 delighted fans at a sold out gig in Dublin's 3Arena last night - but one comment made by frontman Matty Healy has sparked some controversy.
The Dublin gig marked the penultimate stop on the band's current tour of the UK and Ireland. They play in Belfast's SSE Arena tonight before heading across South America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
The concert went down a treat with fans, as they performed their biggest hits alongside songs from their most recent album, Being Funny in a Foreign Language.

While the band have been known to surprise concertgoers with special guest performances - bringing on the likes of Lewis Capaldi, Charli XCX and even Taylor Swift in recent weeks - there was no such cameos in Dublin.
The gig also didn't contain any of Healy's most recent on-stage antics that have went viral - which range from him asking a fans' age and consent before kissing them live on stage, to eating raw meat.
In this instance, the enthusiastic frontman, for the most part, let the band's music and energetic performance do most the talking.
However one comment did spark outrage with some Irish people.
At one point, fans started chanting the usual enthusiastic choruses of 'olé, olé, olé' to which Healy responded: "You Irish are a simple people. You’re easily pleased. That’s good to know."
While fans can be heard cheering and laughing after he made the remark, some people took to social media to air their annoyance.
One person wrote: "'You Irish' go and s***e you snobby English twit."
Another said: "Azealia Banks called us ugly, Matty Healy called us simple, haven’t Irish people been through ENOUGH."
A third added: "Matty healy calling the Irish 'simple people' just triggered my 800 years of oppression sinn fein nationalist anger."
Someone else joked: "Did Matty Healy just call the Irish people simple onstage?! You wanna get out of Dublin alive son?!"
A fifth wrote alongside a GIF of a disapproving person: "me watching matty healy for the rest of the concert after he called irish people simple."
But not all people took offence, with one person saying: "The 1975 did not deliver a special guest and matty called irish people simple in a mean way. Love! Thanks king! Best performance ever though was 10/10."
